Private AI for financial advisers and mortgage brokers in Sydney
Financial advisers and mortgage brokers keep some of their clients' most personal papers: statements, payslips, tax returns and identity documents. A local AI that runs on a computer in your office lets your team ask questions of those files without sending them to a cloud AI service.
What advisers and brokers use it for
- Finding a detail across a client's file notes, fact finds and correspondence, and seeing which document it came from.
- Summarising a long product disclosure statement, lender policy or research report in a few bullet points.
- Searching your own compliance manual, procedures and templates.
- Drafting a first version of a file note or client email from your own documents, for an adviser to review.
Why keeping it in the office matters
Under the Privacy Act, organisations must take reasonable steps to protect the personal information they hold. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) recommends that organisations do not enter personal information, and particularly sensitive information, into publicly available generative AI tools. Read the OAIC guidance.
With one of our computers, your documents and your team's questions stay on a computer in your office. The one exception is web search, which is off unless you switch it on, and then only the words being searched go out, never your documents.
- Every person has their own login.
- You can keep separate document sets for each adviser or team, so people only see what they should.
- Administrators can review chat history, so it is fair to tell your staff.
What it will not do
It is not financial or credit advice, and it does not replace an adviser's judgement or your compliance process. Like any AI tool it can get things wrong or misread a document, so check important answers against the source. Each answer shows which documents it used, which makes that check quicker.
Before you use any AI tool with client files, check what your licensee, professional body and insurer expect. Many have their own rules about AI tools. Keeping files in the office is a good start, but it does not by itself meet your obligations. This is general information, not legal advice.
Sized for a small practice
We size each build to the number of people who will use it at once and test it with several people asking questions together before handover. See our builds for the options. To compare the cost with per-person AI subscriptions, use the cost calculator, or try it on one of your own documents. We are based in Sydney and set up on the North Shore and in the CBD.
